Summer is here! Festival season has begun and I am so excited I attended CURLFEST to kick it off! CURLFEST is an annual natural hair event that takes place in Brooklyn's very own Prospect Park. Here is a recap of the event and all of its festivities.

I attended the event with my girls! CURLFEST is a free event so the more the better. This event is the biggest gathering of twist outs, braid outs, rod sets, fros and locs among all shades and genders so defiantly always be picture ready!

It takes place within the grassy fields of prospect park which means confront is key. We decided to be vibrant and flat! Perfect for shopping at the many VENDORS and FOOD TRUCKS! And not to forget the natural hair companies that were there showcasing their products! There were so many fun products lines such as SheaMoisture, ORS, ManeChoice, Cantu, Made Beautiful, and more!

Everyone who RSVPed was granted a Swag Bag. As press, here is a snippet of all of the goodies I received. CURLFEST was so sweet to included a handful of full sized products into their swag bags. Not to mention the amount of samples giving out at every booth! Basically no one was left empty handed, every natural dream!

But the best part about the whole entire event was meeting my beautiful subscribers! I saw so many of you there! We snapped, vlogged, danced and laughed together! It was great! Curl fest was AMAZING! Cant wait to see you there next year !
